At FIX ‘N’ CHIPS we focus solely on repairing chips, dents, and scratches to Australian homes – that’s all we do. It’s our speciality.

The idea started back in the year 2000, when Chris recognised the enormous growth in building within the Geelong and coastal regions, starting South Coast Acrylic Repairs. In 2005, the business was renamed to FIX ‘N’ CHIPS, as demand for the service grew outside the South Coast to include more and more of Victoria.

Melbourne builders valued the experience, specialised knowledge and reliable service provided by FIX ‘N’ CHIPS, as demand continued to grow.

In 2013, the business took the next step, expanding into franchising as the best way to provide local support Australia-wide, with a well-known brand, tried and tested techniques, and a proven business model.

Today, FIX ‘N’ CHIPS now services Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania, with more and more franchisees coming on board.

So what does that really mean?

One of the ways we normally explain this is that we take our shoes off when we come into your home. This might not seem like a big thing, but it’s a little example of the way we work, and how family values still drive our business.

We’ve all had those experiences where we call a trades person and they are vague about when they are going to be at your job, turn up hours late looking like a hot mess, trudge dirt through your house and don’t clean up after they’re done. That’s not us.

We know the importance of turning up on time, looking well presented and leaving your house in the condition we found it. That’s why we take our shoes off. It’s not all we do, but a good example to show you that we’re not your normal trade, but a group of small business owners who genuinely care.

I could not believe it when I saw the finished product. It was amazing!! We had a large chip in our floorboards and thought we would have to replace the board.....then we got in fix n chips and the result was incredible, they blended it beautifully. Vinay did a great job. There was burn on my kitchen countertop and he fixed it so perfectly. I can’t even spot the difference. Pricing was so reasonable. As a constructions supervisor I've used fix and chips for more than a year for touch up items on new build homes.
